Monthly Lunch Menus

Menus are updated monthly. Lunch items are subject to change.

 
Meal prices in effect for the current school year:

Lunch Prices

Elementary School Lunch: $2.25 per day
Includes 2 servings of bread (e.g., hamburger roll), 1 serving of meat or meat alternate (e.g., cheese), 1 serving of fruit and 1 serving of vegetable and milk.  Milk choices include fat free and 1% white milk and fat free strawberry and fat free chocolate.

Lunch Payments
1 week = $11.25
2 weeks = $22.50

Other Items
Ice Cream: $1.00
Chips/Snacks: $0.75
Milk: $0.50
Second Entrée (e.g., pizza slice, sandwich, etc.): $1.65
Bottled water: $0.25 (8 oz.) or $0.50 (16 oz.)

Payments for Lunch/Breakfast can be purchased with check or cash for any amount of days/weeks. Lunch payments are to be used for meals only. Pre-payment for meals is encouraged as it assures parents their students use the money for meals and not just snacks!

Daily alternate entrees available are:  Yogurt and granola, mozzarella Sticks and a dinner roll, alternate sandwich of the day. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  All sandwiches are served on whole wheat bread.

Jr./Sr. High School Lunch: $2.50 per day
Includes 2 servings of bread (e.g., hamburger roll), 1 serving of meat or meat alternate (e.g., cheese), 1 serving of fruit and 1 serving of vegetable and milk.
Alternates are peanut butter and jelly sandwich, yogurt and granola, Mozzarella Sticks and a dinner roll.  Alternate sandwich of the day and Stuffed Crust Pizza.

5-Day Payment -- $12.50
4-Day Payment -- $10.00
3-Day Payment -- $7.50
2-Day Payment -- $5.00

Other Items

Milk -- $0.50
Bottled water -- $0.25 (8 oz.), $0.50 (16 oz.) or $0.75 (24 oz.)

Breakfast Prices

Elementary Breakfast: $1.50 per day
Breakfast everyday choices include cereal & milk or bagel with cream cheese, milk and juice, according to grade groups.  A daily breakfast special is also offered.

Jr./Sr. High School Breakfast: $1.60 per day
Includes bagel w/cream cheese or breakfast sandwich or Special of the Day, juice & milk, according to grade groups.
Bagel w/cream cheese -- $0.75

 

Child Nutrition Nondiscrimination Statement

Your child may qualify for free or reduced price meals

Our school participates in the National School Lunch Program, which offers nutritious meals for students for free or at a reduced cost, based on household size and income. At Schoharie, the reduced price for breakfast is $0.25 and for lunch is $0.25, and the program is confidential.

An application is available for downloading or printing and only has to be completed once to cover all children in your family.
