How "fire safe" are you and your family? Please take a quick survey

The Schoharie County Fire Prevention Committee, organized by the Central Bridge, Esperance, Gallupville and Schoharie Fire Departments, is conducting a public fire safety survey, which will be used as a basis for evaluating fire safety awareness in our communities. The Committee would like to learn more about how "fire safe" you and your family are. The online Fire Safety Survey can be accessed at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/FireSafetySurvey

Many people never give much thought about fire safety until fire breaks out or until they have a personal experience. Most people outside of the fire service simply don't view fire as a problem and think, "It won't happen to me.”

The survey results will provide your local fire departments with information about the effectiveness of our local fire prevention programs and will allow them to set goals and plans to better meet the needs and concerns of you, the public they protect.
