Child Abuse Hotline Notification

If you suspect a child is being abused or maltreated (neglected), report it by calling 1-800-342-3720, a toll-free 24-hour hotline operated by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police department. Information about reporting child abuse and maltreatment (neglect) is available online at http://ocfs.ny.gov/main/cps/

The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) operates a toll-free hotline telephone number to receive reports of child abuse and neglect at 1-800-342-3720. The hotline receives calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Statewide Toll-Free Telephone Number is 1-800-342-3720.

For those who are deaf or hard of hearing, call TDD/TTY at 1-800-638-5163.

For Video Relay System provider, call 1-800-342-3720.
