The start of the school year is going to look a little different this year, in terms of the first day back. While the district was originally going to start classes on Tuesday, Sept. 8, the first day for students will be Friday, Sept. 11, and that will be a virtual day.
The school year will resume school on Monday, Sept. 14 in accordance with the district reopening plan, which will have grades K-8 attending in-person classes daily and grades 9 through 12 alternating in-person and remote-learning day. For information on how the school is reopening, please see our Reopening Resources page.
Tuesday, Sept. 8, Wednesday, Sept. 9, and Thursday, Sept. 10, will be superintendent’s conference days. The focus of those days will be on professional development; outreach to students and families and final preparations for the return to school.
