Greetings! My name is Lynda Lewandowski and I would love to have the opportunity to represent the residents of SCS School District as a member of the school board.

I moved to Schoharie County in 1987 and currently reside in Central Bridge. All seven of my children have went through SCS school system and were on the high honor roll and/or honor roll and participate in school sports and musicals. My youngest will graduate in 2023.

For ten years I have worked in a high setting as a teacher aid, substitute, attendance office, ISS room, business office, study hall, and cafeteria and library aide. I have also generously volunteered my time to chaperone sporting events, school dances, bonfires, musicals and other school functions.

I have passed the NYS Civil Service Office Assistant/Keyboarding exam with a score of 100% and the NYS Court System Clerical Exam, scoring in the top 10.

During the pandemic I completed a multitude of online courses and seminars to better understand students and be able to offer assistance if needed. These include: Bullying in Schools, E-Cigarettes and Vaping, Managing Teen Mental Health and Stress, Teen Dating Violence, Opioid Overdose Prevention, Recognizing and Supporting Healthy Teen Relationships, Supporting Adolescent Social and Emotional Well Being, Constitution 101: The meaning and History of the Constitution, Civil Rights in American History and more, including various courses on COVID 19

My goal I am selected to represent you, is to aim to answer questions honestly and solve problems anyone may have to the best of my ability, and search for solutions that may benefit everyone.

I support equality, equity and rights for all students and their families and I support the Constitution of the United States.

I hope my principles will aid and assist SCS students and families, and I will not succumb to discouraging and unproductive school politics.

Thank you for talking the time to read this and consider me for school board member.
