Students fare well at SUNY Cobleskill High School Days
Two Schoharie students earned awards at the SUNY Cobleskill High School Day earlier this fall.
The awards, announced last week, recognized the students’ abilities in the skilled trades as related to agriculture.
Schoharie students who attend Capital Region BOCES received the following awards:
- Chloe Armstrong, fifth place in Welding
- Darren Bouck, fifth place in Operation of Bobcat ZTS Excavator
The students competed against dozens of their counterparts from across the state in each competition.
SUNY Cobleskill’s High School Day was conducted September 21 at the college. The annual competition draws hundreds of students to SUNY Cobleskill and showcases the college’s various programs, while giving high school students an opportunity to compete in varying competitions.
