On Tuesday, March 19, members of the SCS Student Government toured the NYS Capitol in Albany with Commissioner Richard Ball from the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets. Members of Student Government were invited onto the floor of the NYS Assembly Chamber, and were photographed in the gallery of the NYS Senate with Commissioner Ball. It was a lobby day as well, so the students witnessed many organizations vocally supporting various causes. This tour gave the students a great lesson in democracy!
