1st annual Small Town Throwdown Cheer Competition at SCS

More than 500 people attended the first annual Small Town Throwdown Section 2 Cheer Competition hosted by SCS on Jan. 28. Jeneca Kenny’s kindergartners use iPads to track the whereabouts of a world-traveling gingerbread man. Besides high-tech sleuthing using their own, new devices, the children are learning reading, writing, library, geography, math and social studies skills. The iPads were purchased with state Smart Schools funds.
