Schoharie senior and soccer team captain Carolyn (Carrie) Krohn has been awarded full scholarship to Siena College. Krohn was joined for a Feb. 12 signing event at her school by her family, including mother and Schoharie High School English teacher Marie Krohn, sisters and father.
More than 500 people attended the first annual Small Town Throwdown Section 2 Cheer Competition hosted by SCS on Jan. 28. Besides high-tech sleuthing using their own, new devices, the children are learning reading, writing, library, geography, math and social studies skills. The iPads were purchased with state Smart Schools funds.
