Every child in the third grade at Schoharie Elementary now has a new dictionary, thanks to the generosity of the Esperance Elks. Carl Bodian of the Elks recently visited the school and talked to children about the purpose and uses of a dictionary.
Last fall, Schoharie Elementary School launched new curricula including GO Math!, Wonders English language arts, and the READ 180 reading improvement program. Teachers also continued to engage children in individualized learning and growth through the i-Ready instructional program.
