emily gigandetBoard President Emily Gigandet

Hi my name is Emily Gigandet! After graduating Cobleskill HS in 2010, I went on for my bachelors degree at Cornell University in Animal Science. My husband and I have four active kiddos-one in 1st grade, a kindergartner, 4 and a 1 year old. I enjoy raising my kids full time, as well as maintaining a small farm with beef cows, chickens, and pigs. I love reading, making anything and everything from scratch, and being outside, usually barefoot. I’m very excited to lead the EPTSO as president for the next two years and continue the important work of supporting our amazing school. I will strive to bring in more enrichment events for our families as well as find creative ways to financially aid teachers. Building community and encouraging the next generation are my top priorities.

megan langanVice President Megan Langan

My name is Megan Langan. My husband and I have four children-Henry (first grade), twins William (pre-k) and Eleanor (pre-k), and my 2 year old Arthur. I am happy to say I’ve been a part of the SCS community for 14 years. In fact my first teaching job was right here at Schoharie Elementary! Ten years later, I still love my job as a Kindergarten Special Education teacher. After school, I volunteer my time as a coach for SYSTEM soccer and T-ball. In the summer months I love to fit in as many family trips and activities as possible including our traditional Lake George week. As VP I look forward to celebrating the teachers of Schoharie Elementary, helping the students, and growing the EPTSO.

Emily Haley and familyTreasurer Emily Haley

My name is Emily Haley and I am a SCS alumni, Class of 2003. Most dear to my heart are faith and family. I reside with my husband and three children in the town of Esperance. My son, Caleb, will start 3rd grade this next year and my identical twin girls, Grace and Elsie, will be headed into 1st grade. As a registered nurse with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, I now delight in the opportunity to be in the home to raise my young children and to be involved with this school community. This is my second term serving in the treasurer position and it is a privilege to work with the staff and students of SCS, as well as the other wonderful volunteers that are part of the EPTSO. I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, drawing, dancing, trips to the beach and savoring the blessings of everyday life.

Dianna MeyerSecretary Dianna Myers

Hello my name is Dianna Myers. I am a Schoharie county native; graduating from Cobleskill-Richmondville high school in 2003. After high school I worked for 10 years in the healthcare field. For the past decade I’ve been a stay at home mom and am in the process of finishing my associates degree in human services. I live in Central Bridge with my blended family which consists of my 3 daughters and 2 sons, ages ranging from 6-18 years old. My fiance Jeremy and I also run our own landscaping business locally in Schoharie county. I enjoy going to the gym, taking our dog and kids to the local park, camping, yoga, and am a great cook! I really look forward to helping the EPTSO raise money for our school and acting as the newly elected secretary.
