Lindsay Haverly, Sophia Styles and Ivy Wray were selected to participate in a performance of a treble choir arrangement of Vivaldi’s “Gloria” in Carnegie Hall in New York City on Monday, Nov. 13. The choir rehearsed and performed under the direction of Dr. Nancy Menk, who holds the Mary Lou and Judd Leighton Chair in Music at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. The Schoharie singers joined other sopranos and altos from across the nation and the world and their performance was accompanied by a chamber orchestra made up of elite musicians. Congratulations to these students who represented SCS with pride in this historic, world class venue.
