Last week members of the Jr. High Band and Jr. High Choir performed at the Trills & Thrills festival in Queensbury, NY. Both ensembles earned the festival’s highest rating, superior! Each group performed two selections and were adjudicated by two experts. During the performance adjudicators recorded feedback by speaking into recording devices. Upon their return to SCS ensembles listened to digital copies of this feedback to celebrate their successes and to inform and improve future performances.
After the performances, students enjoyed a beautiful day at Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George, NY. Congratulations to both ensembles for their outstanding musical accomplishments!
