National Bike and Walk to School Day Set for Wednesday, Oct. 9

Strap on your helmet and lace up your shoes! Join other Schoharie Elementary students on Wednesday, Oct. 9 to participate in National Bike and Walk to School Day! 

Registration is not required but the first 50 registered participants will receive a bike accessory from the EPTSO. The school has a bike rack near the elementary office, please plan on bringing your own bike lock.

Families who do not live inside the village and wish to participate may park at the Schoharie Free Library located at 103 Knower Avenue, Schoharie.  School staff, principal, and our SRO will leave the library at 7:40 a.m. Families are welcome to join the walk/ride to school, as well!

Parents can pick up their child’s bike at the school any time prior to dismissal and have their child go home as usual, or notify the office of a change.
