Schoharie Jr./Sr. High School has a new assistant principal.
David Russell, who had served the district for the last year as athletic director, was appointed by the Schoharie Board of Education on Sept. 21.
Russell, a graduate of Schoharie CSD, is taking over from Leesa Crawford, who accepted a position with BOCES over the summer.
His duties include helping with the day-to-day administration of the Jr./Sr. High School wing and handling matters of discipline involving students.
The district is seeking a new athletic director.
