Schoharie CSD’s Odyssey of the Mind teams had strong performances at the State Tournament over the weekend with both teams taking fourth place!
“These students with their amazing coaches by their side have worked months on preparing to complete and perform outstanding solution to their long term problem, which includes writing a script, making costumes, props, and backdrops, research, a whole lot of creativity, singing silly songs, and many, many hours of team-building practices,” said Schoharie OM Coordinator Jessie Griffin. “The OMers have made our School Community so proud, thank you so much for your dedication and for doing your very best. A huge thank you to our volunteer coaches and to the District for supporting this program for our children.”
The Division 1 team from the Elementary School placed fourth out of 14 schools. The Division 2 team from the Jr./Sr. High School placed fourth out of 15 schools.
