Schoharie Central School District is considering a capital improvement project designed to renovate the Elementary School and improve adjacent areas of the school campus, including athletic fields.
To help guide the project and inform the public, the district is holding a public forum in the Elementary Cafeteria at 6:30 p.m., March 24. The forum will give district officials a chance to provide a look at the district’s infrastructure needs; an overview of the proposed project; and an analysis of how it will be funded. There will also be an opportunity for the public to provide their comments and ask questions.
A public vote on the project is expected to coincide with the annual school budget vote and board election on May 17.
