This survey is for parents and guardians of Schoharie CSD students as we look ahead to the 2020-21 school year.
As the Reopening Task Force, with members of the SCS staff, parents, and administration, prepares for reopening the school district, we must remain flexible in our plan. It is possible that our district will participate in any combination of: in-person learning in the classrooms, virtual learning at home, or some hybrid combination of each that will encompass varied learning styles during the next year. Guidance from local, state, and federal governments, as well as coordination with other regional districts, will have direct influence on our plan. It is also important to take into consideration the needs of SCS students and their families.
Responses to this survey will provide insight into those needs in case future circumstances require any changes to the traditional educational model or calendar.
* Please note that no decisions regarding our return to school in the fall have been made by the district. All decisions will be informed by the guidance of state and local officials.
As the task force moves forward with their work, the district will provide regular updates on the Schoharie School District website and through our School Messenger system to ensure staff, families, and the community are prepared for what the upcoming school year may look like.
CUTOFF DATE: Please complete this survey by Sunday, July 19, 2020.
We appreciate your feedback and as plans for reopening school are developed, we will keep you informed.
